Chaplain’s Corner: Our Miracle Working God

The God we serve today is the same God Adam and Eve communed with in the garden. He is the same God who delivered Israel from the hand of Pharaoh. He is the same God who brought life back into the lifeless body of a widow’s son. He is the same God who was revealed to us through Jesus Christ who performed many miracles while on this earth. He is the same God who raised to life the broken, lifeless body of Jesus. He is the God of the impossible! Luke 18:27 tells us that what is impossible for man is possible for God!

He has proved His faithfulness and power again through miracles of safety for Pilots for Christ. All we can do is praise Him for causing a non-functional ILS to work and bring a plane in safely. We praise Him for miraculously keeping an overheating engine operating with no fuel pressure. We praise Him for a financial miracle.

Thank you, Lord, for giving us the past to illustrate your keeping power. Thank you, Lord, for working in this present time just as in the past. Because of the past history and the present day deliverance we look to the future with unwavering confidence in whom we place our very lives. If you have not experienced the miraculous work of Christ in your life recently, now is the time to step out in faith and allow Him to demonstrate to you His keeping power! He delights in keeping and blessing you. Give Him the freedom to do so in your life today!
