A Plan to Share Jesus with the Moslems

Since the primary mission of PCI is to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it would seem fitting that instead of cursing those responsible for the death of PCI member Martin Burnham, we should do our best to convince them of the love of Jesus Christ. I am therefore proposing (and would like your feedback) that we make a special effort to provide the Moslem people with the Gospel of Jesus.

If it were the will of the membership, I would be happy to assume the responsibility of forming a committee to explore the methods we would employ. In keeping with our original mission statement, we would only employ honest and ethical methods and avoid the temptation to justify methods that would dishonor the name of Jesus.

If you cannot be as active as you would like to be, but have some ideas, please communicate them as soon as possible.

One thought that comes to mind would be the printing of Gospel tracts in the various languages of the Moslem world. I am sure that many such publications exist, however, it would be a matter of determining which publications are best. We can learn from the experience of others. Remember we have a chapter in India and some of our members such as Harold Amstutz and our president Jim McConnell have served in Africa where there are many Moslems. The US Army has discovered that printing leaflets with pictures alone can get a message across also.

Perhaps some of our people have an artistic gift or know of someone with such a gift that could produce a tract without words.

Anyone interested in contributing financially to this project, make your checks payable to PCI with a notation that it is for the Moslem mission and mail it directly to PCI headquarters.

This project should not compete or interfere with any other plans PCI may have for helping Gracia Burnham.

As with all PCI endeavors, a healthy amount of fervent prayer will be required if we are going to be faithful servants of our Lord.
